The manufacturer of the Rollei product, RCP Handels-GmbH & Co. Kg., In de Tarpen 42, D-22848 Norderstedt (hereinafter: Rollei) is the guarantor.

24 months exchange service

At Rollei there is a 24 -month exchange service on almost all products. Our lightning and LED lights are excluded from this, these are given in the event of a defect for repair, by our service center. Consumption goods, such as lightning tubes, are also excluded from the guarantee.

We offer 6 months of warranty on our batteries, so they do not fall below the 24-month exchange service. 

For all other roller egg products, Rollei grants a 24-month exchange service from a purchase date, which means:

  • A defective product or a defective part is exchanged for a new or general overhauled, as new.
  • Rollei bears the return and shipping costs in Europe.

10 years of manufacturer's guarantee for products on the "Lion Rock" line 

In addition, Rollei grants tripods and tripod heads of the series Lion Rock An extended manufacturer's guarantee of 10 years from the date of purchase. Please keep your invoice accordingly. As part of this additional guarantee, we extend your legal warranty rights to 10 years. We thus guarantee that the product retains the specific quality for a period of 10 years from the purchase (durability guarantee). Your legal warranty rights to the seller of the Rollei product will not be restricted by these guarantee conditions.

25 Years of manufacturer's guarantee for products on the "Lion Rock Per"

For the product line Lion Rock Pro Grants Rollei An extended manufacturer's guarantee of 25 years From the date of purchase. Please keep your invoice accordingly. As part of this additional guarantee, we extend your legal warranty rights 25 Years. So we guarantee that the product is properly used for a duration of 25 Years from the purchase retains the certain nature (durability guarantee). Your legal warranty rights to the seller of the Rollei product will not be restricted by these guarantee conditions.

Processing of warranty and guarantee cases:

You must generally exercise your warranty rights to the seller of the Rollei product. As part of this guarantee, you can alternatively assert your warranty rights directly opposite Rollei.

There is a guarantee case if a claim was given on the basis of the legal warranty rights against the seller of the Rollei product.

Guarantee protection applies spatially worldwide. The warranty period begins with the date of purchase. The prerequisite for the assertion of the warranty claim is the submission of the original purchase document.

Except from the guarantee are:

  • Defect by self-fault (e.g. operating and application errors, misuse)
  • Consequential damage (e.g. defect in the camera in the event of a defect on the tripod)
  • Consumption materials (e.g. lamps, cleaning material, protective glasses and batteries)

Should it be a Professional service product (Tripods, rectangular and circular filters, flashes and accessories) or to a product with Extended manufacturer's guarantee Act, this is stated accordingly on the warranty card of the product. If you no longer have the guarantee card, please only send an email to hello@rollei.de And wait for feedback. Professional service products can then be sent to the professional service center at their own expense:

In any case, a copy of the purchase receipt must be submitted. We reserve the right to request the original purchase document.

When sending the product to our service center without additional notification by email hello@rollei.de can delay the processing from the receipt of the shipment.

Insofar as there is a guarantee of the guarantee, we will contact you or send you a identical product directly.

If there is no guarantee, you will receive a cost estimate. If you would like the repair, the necessary fees for repairs and similar costs must be reimbursed from you in accordance with the cost estimate. Otherwise, we will send you the Rollei product back to your specified address at your expense.
