Replacement filter seal for 100mm rectangular filters
With frequent use and intensive filter photography, it can happen that the filter seal , which our ND and Astroklar filters are equipped with as standard. Our Replacement filter gasket 100mm for Filter measuring 100 x 100 mm offers a replacement in such cases. Thanks to it, light coming in from the side is completely blocked again and nothing stands in the way of your filter photography.
How to install the filter gasket 100mm
- Clean the filter on the back so that no residue is visible on the filter.
- Place the filter so that the back is up. Notice the placement of the caption.
- Make sure that the filter gasket has two wider and two thinner sides.
- Remove the foil on one of the two wide sides for about 3 centimeters.
- Now place the filter gasket on the back of the filter so that it is centered and one of the wider sides covers the back of the label.
- Now peel off the foil completely and slide it over the filter seal 100mm to press it firmly at the edges. Be careful not to press the center too hard.
- Remove the middle foam rubber from the filter.
